Diet Charting

Diet charting is a mechanism to guide the person what to eat, when to eat and how much to eat according to his or her health condition. Foods and food preparations are suggested or mentioned for different meals such as before breakfast; breakfast, mid-morning, lunch, evening tea and snack and dinner and at bedtime. Portion size for each person is also mentioned.
Diet chart is usually customized according to food preferences of the individual and work schedule and life style (timing of getting up/sleeping, out eating etc) of the person.
It also indicates the new foods to be added in the diet and some foods or food types to be avoided while following any diet.
Diet chart can be prepared for a week indicating all meals for all seven days of the week. However, it can be for a day, few days of the week or a month.
